This website provides general information about debt review, debt mediation and debt review removal in South Africa. It is not financial, legal or debt counselling advice tailored to your personal circumstances, and it doesn’t replace a proper assessment by a qualified consultant or registered debt counsellor.
The calculator on this site gives a general summary based on the figures you enter. It is not a formal debt review proposal, and it does not determine whether you qualify for debt review, debt mediation or debt review removal. Where the calculator does not provide a personalised repayment estimate, that is because one requires a full assessment — not because of a technical limitation we’re hiding.
We do not guarantee that you will qualify for any service described on this site, that any credit provider will accept a proposed repayment arrangement, that your interest rate or monthly instalments will decrease, or that any process will protect you from legal action in every circumstance. Outcomes depend on your individual situation and on third parties, including your credit providers and, where applicable, the courts or the National Consumer Tribunal.
Submitting a callback or enquiry form is a request for contact, not an application for any service, and does not create any obligation on either side. A consultant will only contact you if you have consented to that contact.
We aim to keep this site accurate and up to date, including in relation to South African consumer credit law, but laws and processes can change. If anything on this site appears out of date, please let us know via our contact page.
This site may link to external websites, including government and regulatory bodies. We aren’t responsible for the content or availability of external websites.
To the extent permitted by law, National Debt Consultants is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on general information provided on this website, or from decisions made without first obtaining a personal assessment of your circumstances.
